When you play the piano, your hand has to be as if you were holding a ball inside . It should not be flat.
When you play a melody, the fingers that don't hold the keys of the piano has to be up.
Your back should be straight.
Your can hold the right pedal of your piano and release it once in a while . It will give sustain and fullness to your piece.
